Alyssa Scott Gives Birth to Nick Cannon’s 12th Baby After Son Zen Dies
Alyssa Scott’s rainbow baby has arrived.
The model gave birth to her third child, Halo Marie Cannon, on Dec. 14 after the December 2021 deaths of her and Nick Cannon’s baby boy, Zen.
“Our lives are forever changed ❤️,” she captioned a moving Instagram video on Thursday, honoring their late son and newborn baby girl.
“Zen is in every breath I take. I know his spirit was with us in the room that morning. I know he looks down on us. He shows me signs every day. I will keep this memory forever.
Scott added: “I will remember the sound of Nick’s voice saying ‘it’s a girl’ and the look of everything we went through on his face. I will remember the sound of him screaming with his first breath and to feel his heart beating against mine.
“Sweet girl, I got my surprise!! We love you Halo Marie Cannon,” she concluded.
Scott became a mom in February 2018 when her daughter Zeela arrived.
In June 2021, the “Wild ‘N Out” star, 29, welcomed her with Cannon’s first child, a son named Zen.
The “All That” alum told his “Nick Cannon Show” audience five months later that the child had lost his battle with brain cancer.
“Alyssa was just the strongest woman I’ve ever seen,” the “Masked Singer” host said in December 2021.
“I never had an argument, I never got mad,” Cannon continued. “She was emotional when she needed it, but she was always the best mom and continues to be the best mom she can be.”
In a “Lip Service” podcast episode six months later, the “Drumline” star hinted that his family was growing due to the grief he felt over Zen’s passing.
“Everyone saw that I was so depressed,” Cannon joked. “So everyone was like, ‘Let’s just give her a little vagina, and it’ll cure everything.’ I fell victim to it because I was in a state of weakness.
The former Nickelodeon star then welcomed son Legendary, daughter Onyx and son Rise with Bre Tiesi, Lanisha Cole and Brittany Bell, respectively.
Cannon also shares son Golden and daughter Mighty with Bell, as well as two sets of twins – Monroe and Moroccan, 11, with Mariah Carey and Zion and Zillion, 1, with Abby De La Rosa.
The latter also welcomed a third child with Cannon on November 11, a baby girl named Beautiful Zeppelin Cannon.
In May, Scott appeared to show off her own baby bump while celebrating Mother’s Day via Instagram, though she didn’t speculate if the photo was a throwback.
Scott officially shared her news in October with a pregnancy photo.
“With you by my side… 🤍,” the then-in-waiting star captioned the sweet snap.
