Amal Clooney looks pretty in a pink lace dress for a romantic evening with George in Venice
It’s more love.
George and Amal Clooney put on a glamorous show in Italy this week as they attended the 80th Venice Film Festival, and the human rights lawyer showed off another stylish ensemble as she was honored at the the 14th edition of the DVF Awards on Thursday evening.
Amal, 45, stunned in a vintage blush lace Christian Dior gown by Tab Vintage for the event, hosted by Diane von Furstenberg and the Diller-von Furstenberg Family Foundation.
Ms. Clooney’s drop-waisted asymmetrical dress featured a tulle overlay over her delicate lace and a long train that trailed behind her as she boarded a waiting boat, as seen in a video shared by the vintage retailer on Instagram.
She teamed the designer’s Fall/Winter 2000 creation with strappy metallic heels, a gunmetal clutch and statement shoulder-length earrings, wearing her hair half-back to show off her jewelry.
Proud husband George looked dapper in a black suit with an unbuttoned navy shirt underneath, holding his wife’s hand as they attended the glam awards.
Fans went wild over Amal’s blushing look, as stylist Ariana Weisner commented, “DEAD. She wins!” on Tab Vintage’s Instagram post showing off her look.
“WHOA AND that’s how you do!!!” 🙌👏,” one fan added, while a third Instagram user commented, “She’s Barbie, he’s just Ken,” on the retailer’s music video.
Amal was honored for her human rights work at the event, accepting the foundation’s leadership award alongside four other women, including actress Lily Singh and Amina J. Mohammed, Deputy Secretary General of United Nations.
For more Page Six style…
As well as her jaw-dropping award outfit, the fashionable mother-of-two wowed in a white and blue mini dress as she arrived matching George on Tuesday, then upped the glam factor in a dress green for a date with her husband later that night.
With plenty of Venetian nights to come for the couple, we anticipate even more fashion wins.
