Amanda Seyfried Reveals Her Biggest High School Beauty Failure

Amanda Seyfried has spoken candidly about a ’90s beauty trend she wishes she had ignored.

“I waxed my eyebrows so badly in high school that they never came back in full,” the ‘Crowded Room’ star admitted to Glamor in an interview published Friday.

Seyfried probably won’t be interested in new eyebrow trends. When asked about her biggest beauty problem, she replied, “Supergluing your eyebrows. Ouch.”

However, taking care of her brows is a beauty priority for the actress, as she admitted that the only thing she will keep in her routine for the rest of her life is to use Lancôme’s Brow Define Pencil ($28 ).

“My eyebrows are also a little too blonde to see sometimes,” she said. “Showcasing – and appreciating – the features I already have is key. »

The ‘Mama Mia’ star admitted she got on the thin brow bandwagon and never fully recovered.

Seyfried isn’t the only actress recently to candidly express regret about her eyebrows.

Earlier this week, Charlize Theron revealed that if she could turn back time, she’d stop hoping for the same trend.

Asked about her biggest beauty regret in an interview with InStyle, the “Fast X” star, 48, replied, “Hands down, the late ’90s eyebrow.”

“I’m still getting over it,” she added.

Along with Seyfried and Theron, other high-profile celebrities who jumped on the thin brow bandwagon were Jennifer Lopez, Jessica Alba and Kate Moss.

But as they say, trends tend to follow a “20-year rule,” and it looks like arched brows are making a comeback as model Bella Hadid was recently spotted with pencil-thin brows.
