Amber Heard hobbles on crutches in Madrid after nasty injury in training for New York City Marathon
An optimistic Amber Heard was spotted limping back into her new home in Madrid on crutches.
In photos obtained exclusively by Page Six, the actress can be seen smiling and interacting with local dads as she stepped out with her sister, Whitney Henriquez, who pushed Heard’s sleeping daughter, Oonagh, 2, in a stroller .
The Aquaman star, 37, told curious photographers that she injured her hip while training for the annual New York City Marathon, which is due to take place in early November.
Despite her injury, which forced the blonde beauty to take a break from her intense running routine, she was in good spirits.
She gloated about how excited she was to reprise her role as Mera in “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom,” which hits theaters in December.
Heard was also delighted that Australian prosecutors recently dropped possible criminal proceedings against her over allegations that she lied about how her two pet dogs were smuggled into the country in 2015.
For the afternoon outing, the maligned ex-wife of Johnny Depp wore a casual black shift dress that cinched at the waist, white Chloé ribbon sandals, layered necklaces, numerous hoop earrings and a matching gold Apple watch.
Her light locks were styled into a messy ponytail and she wore little to no makeup.
The movie star flashed a toothy smile and waved as she and her family walked through the door to her apartment.
Although she has lived in the Spanish capital since September 2022 – three months after Depp won his libel case against her – Heard insists she hasn’t left Hollywood.

The actress made her first public appearance since her ‘disappointment'[ing]legal loss in June, flying to Italy to attend the Taormina Film Festival for the premiere of his new film, ‘In the Fire’.
Heard looked radiant as she laughed and chatted with her friends, the cast and crew of the supernatural thriller, for which production wrapped months before its highly anticipated trial began in April 2022.
During that six-week ordeal, Depp’s lawyers were able to prove that his ex-wife defamed him in a 2018 Washington Post op-ed about s****l violence.
The 60-year-old ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ star sued Heard for $50million in 2019, claiming she lied about him abusing her to get more money as part of their settlement of divorce.
She was ordered to pay the actor $10 million in compensatory damages and $350,000 in punitive damages.
However, the jury awarded the mother $2 million in compensatory damages for her countersuit against the Oscar nominee.
Although Heard initially requested a new trial, saying the jury’s decision was not supported by evidence, she eventually dropped her appeal and agreed to settle the case in December.
The exes were married from February 2015 to January 2017 and had no children together.
The actress welcomed Oonagh – whose father is believed to be tech mogul Elon Musk – via surrogate in April 2021.
