Anthony Anderson to Pay Ex-Wife Alvina Stewart $20,000 a Month in Spousal Support
Anthony Anderson will have to pay his ex-wife, Alvina Stewart, more than $200,000 a year in spousal support as part of their divorce settlement.
According to court documents obtained by Page Six, the “Black-ish” alum will pay Stewart $20,000 per month as his base amount.
However, if his gross annual income exceeds $2 million, he will have to pay his ex an additional 20% of his income.
Anderson, 53, will keep a 2004 Land Rover and a property he owned in Encino, Calif., while Stewart will keep his Houston home and a 2022 Mazda.
According to the documents, the former couple will sell and split the proceeds from their cemetery plot at Inglewood Park Cemetery.
TMZ was the first to report the news.
As Page Six previously reported, Stewart filed for divorce from the “Barbershop” actor in March 2022 after 22 years of marriage.
The mother of two cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.
This was the second time Stewart filed for divorce from Anderson. She initially filed for divorce in 2015, but rejected the petition and reconciled with her husband. The couple later made several red carpet appearances together.

In 2018, Anderson faced legal trouble when he was accused of a*saulting a woman — although the “Law & Order” alum denied any wrongdoing.
“It is unfortunate that anyone can make a police report, whether true or false,” her spokesperson said in a statement to Variety at the time. “Authorities have not contacted Anthony or any of his representatives regarding this matter. Anthony unequivocally disputes this a*sertion.
The investigation was dropped a few months later after the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office said, “The author of the report refused to be interviewed by the investigator.” »
Stewart and Anderson met at Howard University and later married in 1999.
They share two adult children: daughter Kyra, 27, and son Nathan, 23.
