Ines de Ramon was used to beautiful things long before she met Brad Pitt.
The 32-year-old jewelry executive, who is reportedly “officially” dating Pitt, 59, spends her days surrounded by jewelry as Vice President of Jewelry Anita Ko in Los Angeles, where she has been based for the past few years.
But de Ramon grew up far from Tinseltown, on the shores of Lake Geneva, in a posh suburb called Cologny, where his father would work in finance. She attended the local college and was an avid runner before completing a bachelor’s degree in business administration at the University of Geneva.
His family is originally from Madrid, Spain; and de Ramon speaks several languages including French, English, German and Italian.
A Swiss blogger reported that friends of Ramon at her Geneva high school, Calvin College, said she was “among the most popular girls at school”.
During this period, just over a decade ago, de Ramon was often photographed in local luxury and jetset magazines like Cote, which caters to high-end residents of Switzerland and France. In an edition of Cote, she was pictured with her friend Axel Harari, now a prominent architect in Geneva who is also involved in a portfolio of chic hotels and residential buildings.
After working at Christie’s auction house in Geneva and at a local hotel in customer service, de Ramon moved to New York in 2014 where she worked for jewelry company de Grisogono before moving to Los Angeles for four years. later to join Anita Ko.
The “Babylon” actor and Ramon were recently photographed together in Hollywood, Calif., on Pitt’s 59th birthday on Dec. 18. They were caught on camera getting out of a car before heading out to celebrate her big day.
Two days before Pitt’s birthday, the couple got cozy at an after-party for the Los Angeles premiere of “Babylon,” Pitt’s latest film. According to People, the Oscar-winning actor, 58, and de Ramon, 32, were seen mingling with guests and occasionally hugging.
The couple first sparked dating rumors in November when they were seen rocking together at a Bono concert in Los Angeles. But it seems their connection goes back even further.
“He’s known her for a while as a friend,” a source close to Pitt told the Post on Friday. “He has already spent time with her. He is someone he knows, whom he trusts and with whom he feels safe. His friends are really happy for him. But I’d be careful not to overdo it at this point. They’re just having fun so far.
Pitt and de Ramon reportedly arrived at Bono’s show together before joining Cindy Crawford, Rande Gerber and Sean Penn. The duo were photographed holding hands during the show.
Last week, a source told Us Weekly that Pitt was “smitten” with de Ramon, while another source told People the duo planned to spend New Year’s Eve together. “Ines said Brad was very nice,” the source said.
High profile relationships are nothing new for de Ramon, who is also a certified nutritionist and holds several gemology certificates. She was previously married to “The Vampire Diaries” actor Paul Wesley for three years. They ended things around May 2022.
“The decision to separate is mutual and was 5 months ago,” their rep said in a statement obtained by People in September 2022, adding, “They are requesting confidentiality at this time.”
Pitt – who shares six children with Angelina Jolie – has been involved in a long divorce battle with the ‘Girl, Interrupted’ actress since 2019. The former couple infamously met on the set of ‘Mr. & Mrs. Smith and were linked just a month after Pitt’s first wife, Jennifer Aniston, filed for divorce in March 2005.
Pitt, who married Aniston in 2000, was most recently romantically involved with Emily Ratajkowski a few months ago. The two reportedly shared a few nights out, although their relationship was never officially confirmed.
Meanwhile, Wesley, 40, is spending his time with his model girlfriend Natalie Kuckenburg.
