Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion twerk on stage at the 2023 VMAs in steamy performance of new song “Bongos”
Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion were throwing it out like it was Thursday at the 2023 MTV VMAs.
The rappers took the stage at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, Tuesday night to perform their latest collaboration, “Bongos.”
It was the first time the Grammy winners performed the new single live.
Cardi and Megan heated up the arena by twerking fiercely and gyrating their hips in similar jungle-inspired costumes.
The hip-hop duo brought the crowd to their feet for this steamy show, featuring all-female backup dancers.
Cameras captured Taylor Swift and Ice Spice dancing together in the audience, while Cardi’s husband Offset also appeared to enjoy the upbeat song.
Before taking the stage, Cardi and Megan – who appeared to have a heated backstage exchange with Justin Timberlake ahead of their performance, both turned heads on the pink carpet during the awards ceremony.
The “Bodak Yellow” rapper, 30, dazzled in a strapless silver Dilara Findikoglu dress made with hair clips.
The Migos artist, 31, coordinated with his other half in a black suit with a silver belt, while accessorizing with the same hair clips to match his wife.
