Backstreet Boys member AJ McLean announced on New Year’s Day that he and his wife, Rochelle, were divorcing after 11 years of marriage.

The “Larger Than Life” crooner and Rochelle had been separated for over a year before the divorce announcement, having previously expressed hope of working on their marriage.

“Our goal now is to move forward in the healthiest way possible with the friendship and co-parenting of our daughters at the forefront of this next chapter,” the former couple’s statement read.

Sam Smith and Christian Cowan

Sam Smith and designer Christian Cowan have split after a year of dating, the Daily Mail reported on January 2.

The “Stay With Me” singer reportedly joined celebrity dating app Raya following the split in hopes of finding new romance.

Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo

Bryan Abasolo filed for divorce from former “Bachelorette” star Rachel Lindsay on Tuesday, Jan. 2, after four years of marriage.

The chiropractor cited irreconcilable differences as the cause of the breakup.

“After over 4 years of marriage, Rachel and I have made the difficult decision to separate and start over,” he wrote on social media.

“My parents have been married forever and I’m a family man, but sometimes loving yourself and loving your partner means you have to let go.”
