Cher Says She Won’t Cut Her Hair Or Wear Jeans As She Gets Older: ‘I Know The Trends’
Do you believe in life after trends?
Cher, 77, revealed on Good Morning Britain on Monday that she won’t cut her hair or stop wearing jeans as she gets older because she follows trends.
“I just can’t believe I’ll be turning 80 at some point, sooner than I would like,” the fashion icon announced.
“And I will always wear my jeans. And I will always wear long hair. And I’ll still do the same things that I’ve always done,” Cher told the “GMB” presenters.
The ‘If I Could Turn Back Time’ singer explained that she and a friend were “talking about when we were going to have to cut our hair and stop wearing jeans because it seemed like at that time it was was what women did – and it is”. I haven’t touched yet.
Cher credited his “pretty amazing” genes for keeping him looking young – his mother, Georgia Holt, lived to be 96 before pa*sing away in December.
“I don’t know if not feeling old makes you younger. I am not sure. I’m aware of the trends,” pointed out Cher — who loves s*xy bodysuits and edgy all-black ensembles.
“I have a lot of young friends. I also have old friends. Honestly, I’m not trying to feel young. I’m not trying to be young. I am who I am, whatever that means. I just get along,” the “Believe” singer continued.

Cher doesn’t just act and look young: the music legend is also dating younger men.
The pop superstar split from her young boyfriend, Alexander “AE” Edwards, 37, in May after a whirlwind romance.
The unlikely pair even sparked engagement rumors in December 2022, when Cher rocked a huge boulder.
During their romantic evenings, they often wore coordinated outfits, showing that she could still go back in time.
