Erik ten Hag prefers Kobi Mainu to Christian Eriksen

The former Real Madrid player makes complete sense here. Nicolas Vallis tore up the Danish league with Brøndby in the 23/24 season. He has already ama*sed 17 G/A in 22 league games and is helping his team chase Midtjylland to their 12th Danish league title in club history.

The Denmark national football team coach must realize that the country cannot retain Christian Eriksen because of his past record. The 32-year-old is past his prime and doesn’t even find regular playing time at his club. In such a situation, restricting young players from shining in order to select players of the coach’s choice can be disastrous.
