Dorit and BK Kemsley celebrated their ninth wedding anniversary two months before announcing their split

Dorit and Paul “PK” Kemsley appeared very much in love as they celebrated their ninth wedding anniversary just two months before announcing their split.

In March, the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” stars shared emotional Instagram posts on their respective accounts in honor of the special day.

“Happy anniversary babe, I love you ♥,” Dorit captioned her circle, which included PDA-filled selfies, wedding day shots, and photos of their family of four.

The couple – who have son Jagger, 10, and daughter Phoenix, 7 – married in 2015 during a stunning ceremony in New York City after four years of dating.

PK also honored the special day by posting a video chronicling their relationship, sharing photos from their early days of dating until now.

“I’m here, I see you, I love you, happy 9th birthday and thank you ❤️,” he wrote.

Despite the adorable posts, the British businessman was spotted without his wedding ring just a week ago.

On Thursday, Dorit and BK announced they would be parting ways amid rumors of trouble in paradise.

“As a couple, we have been subjected to a lot of speculation about our marriage,” the couple wrote in a joint statement. “We have faced our struggles over the past few years and continue to work through them as two people who love each other and share two wonderful children together.”

“To protect our deep friendship and maintain a harmonious environment for our children, we have made the mutual and difficult decision to take some time apart and re-evaluate our relationship while prioritizing our children,” they added.

They concluded the post by thanking fans for their continued “love and support” as they navigate this new chapter of life.

Dorit admitted on Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast in November 2023 that she and PK had reached a difficult spot in their marriage.

“It’s not like we’re headed to divorce court, but we’ve separated. PK and I, we really lean on each other and communicate a lot. So this is the first time in the 13 years we’ve been together that we’ve felt this separation,” she said.

“When we got into this season, it was really important for me to be open and honest and talk about it because it is what it is.”

In fact, during the season 13 finale of “RHOBH,” the mother of two wondered if they could ever get out of this panicked feeling.

She asked in her confessional: “I love my husband, but I just hope that eventually something will change, because I have moments where I worry, ‘Are we going to be able to stay together?’”

Dorit felt that PK was not supportive of her battle with PTSD — which stemmed from a 2021 armed home invasion.

“No matter how hard I try, it seems like he will never take me seriously and will be as present as I want him to be when I need him, and he will probably never change, but should I accept that he will”? Could I? “I don’t know,” she asked.

She also admitted that her husband’s drinking had had a serious impact on their marriage but they were trying to work things out.
