Eagles’ CJ Gardner-Johnson says car was stolen in Philadelphia after win over Giants
So much for the city of brotherly love.
Eagles security CJ Gardner-Johnson says his car was stolen in Philadelphia and he knows who was behind the robbery.
“I know exactly who stole my brother,” Gardner-Johnson, 25, said in an Instagram Live video on Monday. “Don’t worry, we filmed you all. Wow. Wow. Is that how you get down to Philadelphia… after a win?
Two days prior, Gardner-Johnson recorded three tackles in the Giants’ 38-7 loss to Philadelphia in the NFC Divisional Round game at Lincoln Financial Field.
In the video, which has since circulated on social media, Johnson appears to be speaking with police and viewing surveillance footage outside Philadelphia.
The video does not show a police presence or video footage of the alleged theft.
The Eagles acquired Gardner-Johnson from the Saints in August. He is expected to become a free agent after this season.
The Eagles host the 49ers, who are on a 12-game winning streak, in Sunday’s NFC Championship Game.
