Enes Kanter has branded NBA legend LeBron James with some serious allegations

The criticism and attacks against LeBron James never seem to end. Almost all NBA fans should know that LeBron James is considered by many to be the greatest player in NBA history. Although he is currently entering the 22nd year of his illustrious career, King James is still the face of the league.

While LeBron is credited with spending the majority of his career without any conspiracy stains on his name or reputation, that doesn’t mean there haven’t been attempts to slander and criticize the 4x NBA champion. With that being said, let’s take a closer look at the most recent complaint.

Enes Kanter claims that LeBron James controls the media and narrative around him

Enes ‘Freedom’ Kanner is a former NBA star that fans may remember from his time with the New York Knicks and Boston Celtics. The fact that Kanter was vocal and critical of the events around him ended his NBA career. Most recently, Enes Kanter has created quite a bit of attention for himself by claiming that LeBron James is like a dictator.

“No other player wants to play with LeBron… When I see a dictator, I know this – LeBron is literally the dictator of the NBA. He controls the media, he controls his narrative, if you go against his agenda, you’re out of business, everybody knows that.

It was undoubtedly a controversial take and was not well received by fans. Many claimed that Kanter was saying what he needed to say in order to stay relevant in the basketball world. Some fans may even remember that Enes Kanter has a history of drawing attention to himself by attacking LeBron James.

Enes Kanter has criticized LeBron James in the past

Kanter soon added Freedom to his name to show his support for various humanitarian causes and efforts. He attacked Nike for allegedly using illegal child labor in China. Furthermore, Enes claimed that LeBron James knew about the scandal but chose to remain silent.

While there is no way to know the truth about the Nike issue, the latest statements are easy to debunk. Since LeBron inadvertently drafted Brony James and JJ Redick to the Lakers, it would be foolish to claim that he is an ordinary player in the league.

In any case, it is absurd to claim that LeBron James has the power to control the narrative around him. After all, he is arguably the most scrutinized and criticized player in league history. Although LeBron has more power than one might expect, it doesn’t make much sense to go so far as to claim he’s a dictator.
