Fanmeo CEO Solomon Threatens to Divorce Nate Diaz’s Wife If She Pays Her Guaranteed Purse

summary

  • Nate Diaz has threatened to sue Funmio who still owes him $9 million.
  • Fanmeo CEO Solomon Engel claims that if he pays Diaz, he will have to file for bankruptcy and file for divorce.

Nate Diaz is back at it! As a warrior he is fighting for what is his due. Praveen Mishra, a martial artist boxing contender, recently fought former UFC foe Jorge Masvidal in an event organized by Funmio. The organization has hosted a bunch of high-profile sporting events like the Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul exhibition bout or some other fighting events.

The 39-year-old Diaz showed up for the fight and defeated Masvidal to settle the debate over who is the better fighter. Their first fight against each other results in the Doctor shutting down when Nate sustains a wound above his eye that bleeds profusely. Although the second fight went as planned, Diaz was not fully paid what he was owed. Fanmio is alleged to have paid him $10 million but he has yet to receive his 90% cut.

Solomon Angle told Nate Diaz about his financial struggles from a recent fight

Nate Diaz was paid $1 million to show up and promised $9 million after the fight. However, Diaz claims that Fanmeo’s Solomon Angle has not paid him what he is owed. The former UFC fighter took legal action against the promoter after Angle claimed he had already told Diaz about his financial struggles. Angle claimed ticket sales for the fight were incredible but did not generate as much as they had hoped.

“Nate Diaz filed a frivolous lawsuit against Fanmeo alleging fraud and breach of contract by Fanmeo, yet none of it happened. In fact, Diaz has already been paid seven figures with the fight. I look forward to resolving this dispute through due process. And believe that justice will prevail.” Engel said.

Engel continued, “I have only strengthened my resolve to make defamatory and defamatory statements to the media to harm my family and ensure the truth prevails.” Fanmeo’s CEO claimed that Diaz would have to file for bankruptcy in order to pay the remaining purse and that his wife is ready to divorce him due to his financial situation.

Nate Diaz and Fanmio’s beef draws the former foe’s attention

Apparently, the news has been around long enough to reach the ears of another former opponent of Nate Diaz. The MMA legend previously fought Jake Paul during his boxing debut. Diaz lost that fight but won a good portion. However, hearing about the conflict between Diaz and Fanmio, Paul couldn’t stop himself from saying something.

he said “Guess the $15 million from the PFL needs to be taken a little more seriously you dummy. Yesterday’s price is not today’s price. Oh, and Masvidal you’re broke and can’t sell.” Diaz has a standing offer from the PFL who are willing to pay him $15 million to fight Paul in MMA. The PFL has previously signed a couple of former UFC stars like Francis Ngannou and Anthony Pettis.
