Gervonta Davis breaks silence after chilling 911 call emerges from her arrest

World boxing champion Gervonta “Tank” Davis called the domestic violence allegations against him “bulls-t” after he was arrested in Broward County, Florida on Tuesday.

After Davis was released from prison on Wednesday, the 28-year-old boxer suggested in a since-deleted Instagram post that the battery allegations are a ploy against him for money.

“Don’t let these people mislead you all about these bulls – t… it was just yesterday moments before my baby mama and I had a fight!” Davis reportedly captioned the post, which included a photo that appeared to show her daughter watching the animated movie “Frozen.”

“Watching ‘Frozen’ with my eldest daughter…I never got my hands on my child mother or my fucking daughter, you crazy!!” Davis wrote. “I’m not a monster, I’ve been silent too long. I don’t have a media team, a PR, a good lawyer… a spokesperson, none of that… that’s the only reason I’m doing this now!

“Just to clear my name!” I’ve been doing this on my own ever since I started this thing! These people have been broadcasting so much stuff all over the place and have a helicopter flying over my house now that I’m writing this because they consider it money for them and trying to get as much money as possible…”

In the same post, Davis added, “They even posted a snippet of the police call my baby mom was crying on the phone because I wouldn’t give her my truck!”

The post reported by Davis came the same day TMZ released the audio of multiple 911 calls made by the woman who accused Davis of domestic violence.

“Help me please! I need help please,” an unidentified woman can be heard pleading with the 911 operator. “I’m trying to get home , I have a baby in the car and he attacked me in front of the child. And now it’s ruining my tyres! Please help me! He is going to kill me !”

In a separate call, the woman said: “I have to go home, I’m in danger right now!”

When the 911 operator asked who the woman was arguing with, she did not reveal a name or release details of the alleged incident.

Davis was incarcerated in Broward County Jail on Tuesday for the battery charge, records show. He was later released on Wednesday, following a court hearing where bail was set at $1,000, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Davis is accused of hitting the alleged victim with a “closed hand”, leaving her with an abrasion on the inside of her upper lip.

The documents state that Davis “actually and intentionally touched and struck” the woman “against her will” and “intentionally caused bodily harm to her.”

Davis is also due in court Feb. 16 for a separate incident in which he faces 14 charges of an alleged hit-and-run in 2020, according to The Sun.

In a separate incident in 2020, Davis was seen on video grabbing his ex-girlfriend by the throat during a charity basketball game at the University of Miami.

Davis turned himself in to police days after the video surfaced on Twitter and was charged with two counts of simple domestic violence.

Davis is set to fight Hector Luis Garcia in Washington, DC on Jan. 7 to defend his WBA “regular” lightweight belt.
