Gypsy Rose Blanchard details the ‘pain’ she feels after plastic surgery: ‘I can’t breathe through my nose’
Gypsy Rose Blanchard got a rhinoplasty and is still recovering from the complex plastic surgery.
“I’m in and out of sleep,” “Confessions of a Gypsy Prison” star Rose Blanchard told People magazine on Saturday shortly after her surgery the day before. “I was in pain at first but I take pain medication.”
However, Blanchard admitted that her rhinoplasty was not without its fair share of obstacles.
“I can’t breathe through my nose because of the packing, but that will end on the 10th day,” she said.
The convicted criminal – who was released from prison in December 2023 after serving time for the murder of her mother Dee Dee Blanchard – concluded she wanted to see the end result “very bad”.
Gypsy, 32, shared earlier this week that going under the knife was part of a “personal transformation journey” that “includes a physical journey as well.”
The inmate turned influencer is in the midst of her separation from her husband, Ryan Anderson, of nearly two years.
She announced last week that they had decided to end the relationship after just three months of living together following her release.

“I’m learning to listen to my heart,” Gypsy said in a private Facebook post at the time after deleting her public social media accounts, which had millions of followers.
She then concluded, “Right now, I need time to allow myself to find… who I am.”
Before being in prison for conspiring to murder her mother with her ex-boyfriend Nicholas Godejohn, Gypsy was subjected to several years of abuse because Dee Dee suffered from Munchausen’s disease. By proxy.
Gypsy seems to have recently found comfort in her ex-fiancé Ken Orker, as the two have been seen spending a lot of time together and getting matching tattoos.
However, a close friend of the Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up star recently dispelled rumors that the prisoner cheated on Anderson, 36, with Orker.
“I want people to know that she didn’t leave Ryan for Kane,” Nadia Wazir told People Friday. “She left him because she wasn’t happy anymore.”
The tattoo artist claimed that Gypsy had a heated argument with her husband which led to their breakup, as she was allegedly afraid he would hit her.
“Ryan is a big guy, and she told me it was really scary,” Vizier claimed, later adding of Gypsy, “She didn’t want to take it anymore.”
