Brad Pitt has “no reaction” to recent headlines that his son Pax Jolie-Pitt called him a “world-cla*s a*shole” in a resurfaced social media post, Page Six has learned.
Despite a report claiming Pitt feels the situation is “depressing” and “frustrating,” a source close to the actor insists nothing could be further from the truth.
“It’s just unfortunate that people keep trying to get kids involved,” the source told us Tuesday.
“It’s been a long seven years and it’s unfortunate that people are unnecessarily bringing up issues from so long ago… and not considering the impact it has on the whole family.”
The source adds that Pitt has not referenced his children in the media regarding his 2016 divorce from Angelina Jolie or their ongoing custody battle — and he will continue to remain silent.
Our source’s comments come a day after screenshots of a post from Pax’s alleged private Instagram account surfaced online.

The 16-year-old allegedly hit his estranged father – who he has not been seen with since 2016 – on Father’s Day in 2020.
“Happy Father’s Day to this world cla*s a*shole!! You prove time and time again that you are a terrible and despicable person,” Pax allegedly wrote, according to the Daily Mail, regarding a photo of Pitt accepting his Oscar.
“You have no consideration or empathy for your four youngest children who tremble in fear in your presence,” he allegedly continued, referring to siblings Zahara, 18, Shiloh, 17, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 15 years old.
He also has a 22-year-old older brother, Maddox.
“You will never understand the hurt you have caused my family because you are incapable of it,” the message continues.
Pax, now 19, also allegedly accused Pitt, 59, of making “the lives of his loved ones” a “constant hell.”
“You can tell yourself and the world whatever you want, but the truth will come out one day. So, Happy Father’s Day, you fucking horrible human being!!! the message is finished.
The “Bullet Train” star shares his six children with his ex-wife Jolie, who accused him of physically and verbally abusing them during a plane trip in 2016.
In court documents obtained by Page Six in October 2022, Jolie, 48, claimed her ex-husband “choked one of the children and punched another in the face” and “grabbed [her] by her head and shook her” during the infamous plane ride.
Pitt maintained his innocence.
Additionally, the FBI investigated him for child abuse allegations but decided not to pursue criminal charges.
The “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” star’s relationship with her children was called into question last week when Zahara refrained from using “Pitt” in her name during her induction into Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority at Spelman College.
Instead, she introduced herself as “Zahara Marley Jolie.”
In 2021, Us Weekly reported that Maddox also “does not use Pitt as a last name on documents that are not legal and instead uses Jolie.”
“Madox wants to legally change her last name to Jolie, which Angelina said she doesn’t support,” a close source said.
Jolie and Pitt were legally married from 2014 to 2019 after getting together in 2005.
