How Tom Brady celebrated Christmas with the kids after Gisele Bündchen’s trip
Tom Brady capped off Christmas week with a belated celebration with his three children.
Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, the Buccaneers quarterback gave fans a sneak peek into his holiday festivities, which included family time with his 15-year-old son Jack, who he shares with his ex-girlfriend. friend Bridget Moynahan, as well as his son Benjamin, 13, and daughter Vivian, 10, whom he co-parents with his ex-wife Gisele Bündchen.
“The real thing,” Brady wrote alongside a snapshot of her kids. “Merry Christmas.”
In separate posts shared on his Instagram Stories, Brady, 45, revealed that Benjamin received game-centric socks while Vivian’s shoes focused on her passion for horse riding.
Before the holidays, Brady – who finalized his divorce from Bündchen, 42, in October after 13 years of marriage – was in Arizona preparing for a Christmas Day game Sunday against the Cardinals. The seven-time Super Bowl champion opened up about the “new experience” on a recent episode of his SiriusXM podcast, “Let’s Go!”
“It will be a new experience that I have never had and that I will learn to manage. And I think that’s life. So you just asked a question about what you learned from this football season? I’m going to learn how to deal with Christmas Eve in a hotel, and I’m going to have to learn how to deal with Christmas and Christmas Eve and still go out and be a professional,” Brady said earlier this month.
“And I can’t wait to celebrate Christmas with my kids the next day. Which is, you know, just part of what football season has been for a long time. So those are just, again, the emotional aspects that allow us to thrive.
A day after Brady and the Buccaneers knocked out the Cardinals in overtime, 19-16, the quarterback explained what it meant to celebrate the holidays with his loved ones.
“I think you should always step back and count your blessings,” Brady said during Monday’s installment of “Let’s Go!”
“The fact that I showed up at home today and my eldest son arrived at 8 a.m. is a blessing,” he said. “The fact that I can celebrate Christmas with my children is a blessing.”
Before spending Christmas with Brady, Benjamin and Vivian spent time in Bündchen’s native Brazil.
Earlier this week, the model shared a collection of snaps from the trip on Instagram, where she gushed, “Always so good to be back home.”
