The “Dark Phoenix” star said she allowed Joe to take the girls with him because he could spend more time with the 3-year-old and 1-year-old during the day.

In a statement from his representative, the DNCE leader called the lawsuit a “harsh legal position” that flies in the face of the “amicable co-parenting system” he believed he and Turner were working on as recently as last weekend.
“Joe is seeking joint custody of the children so that they are raised by both their mother and father, and he is of course also OK with the children being raised in the US and UK. United,” his representative said, adding that the young children on the two American citizens.
The singer’s rep also told Page Six that Turner was “aware” he was going to file for divorce after “several conversations.”
