Julia PKB claims a house full of mice will keep her son from turning into a ‘fucking asshole’
Love her or hate her, Julia PKB apparently wants to keep it real.
The 32-year-old ‘Uncut Gems’ star and fashion designer has defended living in her newly revealed ‘tiny’ mouse-infested apartment in New York City after a fan referenced her supposed net worth of 30 millions of dollars.
“I really didn’t expect my apartment tour to go so viral, and people are freaking out about it,” she said Monday in a TikTok clip made during a “birthday trip” to the Bahamas.
“I just want you to know that, first of all, I’m not worth $30 million, not even close,” she confessed. “And second, I don’t care. I don’t need $30 million — why does a person need $30 million? I survived on a lot less and I’m doing great.
PKB and ex Peter Artemiev share 2-year-old son Valentino – whose playroom, as seen on his recent apartment tour, takes up the smallest bedroom in the two-bedroom property. PKB. The larger bedroom is also his, although PKB claimed the two always slept together in his bed, which is in the living room.
“It’s really not that deep,” she said, defending the space. “It happens to be the apartment where I brought my son home from the hospital, so it’s his house… It’s really Valentino’s apartment. It’s like something sentimental .
“That’s kind of why I’m, like, even though I could probably afford a bigger spot, because I’m in New York, after all, it’s about having that sense of normalcy for Valentino.”
PKB went on to proclaim that she didn’t want her child to be spoiled by a pampered lifestyle.
“I don’t want him to grow up and become, like, asshole king, you know what I mean?” I want him to be in touch with the real world, because I grew up in the real world, believe it or not,” PKB continued. “I just want my son to have the same.”
She also debunked the rumor that she spends a lot of money on designer clothes – despite her many bold street style looks and appearances at events.
“I don’t buy nice things and you’re like, ‘She’s wearing thousands of dollars in couture.’ Sewing borrowed!” Renard clarified.
“Jesus Christ, come on, people. Most of the clothes I wear are, like, young rookie designers, to be honest.
PKB concluded by saying that the supportive comments from her apartment tour “warmed” her heart because “so many people could relate to.”
“Don’t believe everything you read on the internet – all that celebrity net worth stuff is complete BS,” she added.
