Justin Bieber’s mother, Pattie Mallette, celebrates Hailey Bieber’s ‘exciting’ pregnancy news: ‘My heart is so full’

Justin Bieber’s mother, Pattie Mallette, is “so excited” about being a grandmother.

Mallett, 49, shared a video on Instagram on Thursday talking about her new moniker just hours after her son and wife Hailey Bieber announced they were expecting their first child.

“I’ve been waiting for this day and now that they’ve shared it, I can finally celebrate with you,” Mallette said. “Oh my God, I’m going to be a grandmother. Oh my God!”

She continued, “Justin and Hailey are going to be the best parents ever, and I’m so excited. Oh my God. Thank God.”

The mother-of-one also congratulated the couple in the caption, telling fans that her “heart is so full.”

“What a new and exciting adventure,” she wrote. “I love you a lot!”

The Bieber duo, who married in 2018, announced their baby news on Thursday after recommitting their love to each other during a picturesque and very intimate vow renewal ceremony in Hawaii.

Justin, 30, and Hailey, 27, shared photos and videos from the ceremony, which was officiated by their close friend and pastor Judah Smith.

Photos from the case show the couple reading handwritten letters to each other, kissing, holding hands and embracing on a gra*sy hill.

At one point, the “Peaches” singer posed behind the camera to snap a few snapshots of the expectant model, who was cradling her baby bump.

Founder Rudd looked beautiful in an off-the-shoulder Saint Laurent white lace dress and matching lace veil, which she tied around her head like a scarf.

Meanwhile, Justin – who is known for dressing more casually than his fashion-forward wife – was wearing a baseball cap, puffer jacket, and jeans.

Hailey is reportedly in her third trimester of pregnancy, which means baby Bieber could be here by late summer.

The parents-to-be began their on-and-off relationship in 2016, and got engaged two years later.

Although the couple obtained their marriage certificate in a New York City court in 2018, they ended up having a lavish wedding in South Carolina the following year surrounded by their friends and family.

After years of battling pregnancy rumours, Hailey told The Sunday Times in May 2023 that she and Justin were ready to expand their family, but she was “scared” of raising a child in the public eye.

“I literally cry about this all the time! I want kids so bad, but I’m scared,” Hailey told the outlet.

“It’s enough that people say things about my husband or my friends. I can’t imagine having to face people saying things about a child. We can only do our best to raise them. As long as they feel loved and safe.”
