Kamala Harris will make a surprise appearance on SNL tonight — in the last episode before the election
Vice President Kamala Harris will make a surprise appearance on this week’s episode of “Saturday Night Live,” an insider exclusively tells The Post.
Harris will appear during the show’s traditional, politics-averse cold opening, the tipster said.
“It’s all been hush-hush,” the source told The Post Saturday afternoon in the final weekend before Tuesday’s presidential election, adding that “the Secret Service is here.”
Neither Harris nor “SNL” representatives responded to The Post’s request for comment.
On the last Saturday before the election, Harris made an afternoon campaign stop at the Atlanta Civic Center in Georgia before heading to a rally in Charlotte, North Carolina, while his Oval Office opponent, former President Donald Trump, spoke to a crowd of about 20,000 in Gastonia, North Carolina, en route to Milwaukee for an overnight event. before
This week’s episode, hosted by “SNL” alum John Mulaney, will also include an appearance by former presidential candidate Sen. Tim Kaine (D-Va.), according to insiders. Kaine is running for a third term against Republican challenger Hong Cao.
In addition to Harris and Kaine’s visit, controversial former “SNL” cast member Pete Davidson will also appear on this week’s episode.
“I don’t think the Secret Service is here for him,” the Post’s source joked about Davidson.
Harris was voiced by former cast member Maya Rudolph in the first four select episodes of the iconic, Emmy-winning sketch show’s 50th season.
Former presidential candidate, secretary of state, senator and first lady Hillary Clinton was famously sent up by former “SNL” cast member Amy Poehler repeatedly — and to her face — as was one-time VP candidate and former Alaska governor Sarah Palin, who was Tina Fey.
