Kate Middleton’s rep shrugs off speculation about her recovery, as theories about her whereabouts spread
Kate Middleton’s team is speaking out in light of conspiracy theories swirling around the Princess of Wales’s whereabouts following her abdominal surgery in January.
“Kensington Palace clarified the timeline for the princess’s recovery in January and we will only provide important updates,” her rep tells Page Six exclusively. “This guidance stands.”
This attack confirms that Middleton, 42, is “in good shape.”
As Middleton continues to recover, Prince William has resumed public duties, but raised concern again when he refrained from a royal engagement on Tuesday for undisclosed “personal reasons.”
But the palace confirmed at the time that the princess was “in good condition.”
The Prince of Wales, 41, appeared again on Thursday at a synagogue in London, where he participated in an anti-Semitic event.
“Catherine and I are deeply concerned about the rise of anti-Semitism.” He said he shared With the group.
Middleton has not been seen since Christmas Day, and speculation has reached a fever pitch with internet sleuths’ theories ranging from plastic surgery to being in a coma.
At the time of her surgery, Kensington Palace confirmed that the mother-of-three would remain in hospital for up to two weeks and would not resume public duties until around Easter.
But a source told us that Middleton’s closest advisors didn’t even know she planned to undergo surgery.
More royal family coverage to watch:
Shockingly, at the same time as Middleton’s surgery, King Charles III announced that he would undergo a routine prostate procedure.
Although the surgery itself went well, Buckingham Palace later announced that the 75-year-old monarch had been diagnosed with cancer.
Charles later said in a statement: “I would like to express my sincere thanks for the many messages of support and well wishes I have received in recent days.”
“As everyone with cancer knows, kind thoughts like these are the greatest comfort and encouragement.”
Although he initially postponed some activities to receive treatment, the king resumed his duties last week.
