Kevin Costner Breaks Silence On Christine Baumgartner’s ‘Horrible’ Divorce After Winning Child Support

“It’s a horrible place, but that’s where we are,” the “Yellowstone” alum told Access Hollywood after being awarded child support on Friday.
“It hurts so much,” the 68-year-old actor said outside the courtroom. “We’re talking about someone I love on the other side. I just can’t.
When the outlet asked if Costner “still had love” for his ex-wife, he replied, “Of course.”
The Oscar-winning actor noted that he was “not laughing” at their divorce proceedings despite a joke on the stand.
Baumgartner’s attorney had accused Costner of making more money than he previously claimed, joking, “We’ll have to organize a scavenger hunt to find it.”
As the Golden Globe winner addressed her breakup with the handbag designer on the stand — and in court papers — her Friday remarks marked her first direct quotes about the breakup since Baumgartner filed for divorce in May. .
The former couple have since launched into some messy accusations, with Costner even claiming her ex is dating close friend Josh Connor, who she vacationed with in July.
Costner accused Baumgartner of receiving $20,000 in cash from the financier.
The model, for her part, alleged through her attorney that Costner was “hiding” evidence of her finances, a statement he later denied on the stand.
She filed a request earlier this week for her ex to pay $175,057 in monthly installments for their three children — Cayden, 16, Hayes, 14, and Grace, 13 — which she later reduced to $161,592 .
Baumgartner notably said at the time that luxury was in “teenagers’ DNA at this stage”.
On Friday, however, Costner was ordered to pay just $63,209 a month in child support, according to TMZ.
Baumgartner, who originally requested $248,000 a month in June, has yet to speak about the Emmy winner’s win.

She and Costner married in September 2004 after dating for five years. She then signed a prenuptial agreement, which obliged her to leave the family home after the separation.
While Costner claimed in June that Baumgartner refused to leave, a judge upheld the prenup and ordered him to leave the following month.
At the time, Page Six obtained photos of U-Haul trucks moving Baumgartner to a “smaller house” on their Santa Barbara, California property.
“She stays in the neighborhood so as not to disrupt the children’s lives,” a source told us of the “temporary solution”, alleging that Baumgartner was “still looking” for a new place.
