Kim Kardashian fears her future boyfriends are ‘afraid’ of Kanye West
Kim Kardashian has expressed concern that her future boyfriends are “afraid” of her ex-husband Kanye West.
“There’s a part of me that’s like, ‘Oh my God, is everyone going to be scared because I don’t have the easiest ex?'” the Instagram icon said. reality TV star, 42, on Monday’s episode of “Angie Martinez IRL.” podcast.
“I don’t think it’s fair for me to put someone in a situation or bring in a new person who might be super innocent,” she continued. “Then there’s a side of me that’s like, ‘Why should I live this way? “”
Elsewhere in her chat with host Angie Martinez, Kardashian, 42, wept over the difficulties of co-parenting with West, 45, as his behavior became increasingly controversial this year.
“It’s really, really hard,” admitted the “Kardashians” star, who shares North, 9, Saint, 7, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 3, with the rapper.
The former couple finalized their divorce on November 29. Kardashian originally filed in February 2021 after seven years of marriage.
West, who has failed to win Kardashian back despite several public attempts, made headlines this year for designing “White Lives Matter” clothing, a barrage of anti-Semitic attacks and allegedly showing pornography – including including explicit photos of Kardashian – to former employees.
Although Kardashian sometimes worries that West’s reputation will scare off potential suitors, she insisted she was in the “fun zone” of being single.
“I don’t know if I’ll get married again, but I’ll have my partner forever. I know that. He’s coming, absolutely,” she told Martinez, 51. fun until it happens.
The first person Kardashian dated after her split from West was comedian Pete Davidson. They started dating in October 2021, but eventually called it quits in August.
During Kardashian’s relationship with Davidson, 29, West often lashed out at the former “Saturday Night Live” via social media — something the Skims founder didn’t appreciate.
In February, the mother-of-four publicly called out West for posting threatening messages about Davidson – who the musician infamously referred to as “Skeet” – online.
“Divorce is hard enough for our children,” she said in a statement at the time, “and Kanye’s obsession with trying to control and manipulate our situation in such a negative and public way only cause more pain to all.”
