Kim Kardashian’s Performance in ‘American Horror Story’ Slammed by Fans: ‘Why Is She on This?’
An “American Horror Story” indeed?
Fans of the FX horror anthology series criticized Kim Kardashian’s role as Siobhan following the season 12 premiere, “Delicate,” on Wednesday.
“Kim sucks as an actress. Why is she on this? It ruined me,” a A Twitter user wrote.
“I don’t like Kim at all.” another accepted.
A third user called the 42-year-old reality star’s face “surgical,” noting, “I don’t know if she’s happy or sad.”
However, many viewers expressed mixed feelings about Kardashian’s performance as a publicist, ranging from “shock” at her sk**ls to praise.
“There wasn’t a lot of acting needed,” one fan said highlighted via Twitter. “She could draw inspiration from her real-life experiences.”
Another I went so far as to write that since “the girl has been doing reality TV for a decade, she can act”, while others have described it like “a little bad, a little good”, “a step closer to EGOT status” And “surprisingly decent.”
Kardashian and her siblings have yet to speak about her role on the show since the first episode aired.
News broke in April that the Skims creator would be joining the cast alongside Emma Roberts and Cara Delevingne.
Not only did the casting decision enrage many fans, but award-winning actresses Patti LuPone and Sharon Stone spoke out against Kardashian at the time.
“I do not [like it]” the Broadway icon, 74, said on “Watch What Happens Live,” agreeing with host Andy Cohen that the makeup mogul was “taking the role away from actors.”

As for the “Basic Instinct” actress, Stone, 65, wrote in an Instagram comment that artists should have “study” and “suffer” to do the work they “cherish.”
Kardashian shrugged off the criticism by speaking to Variety about the role — and her acting cla*ses — on the Met Gala red carpet the following month.
“I’m so excited,” the “Kardashians” star said at the May event. “It’s really fun to get out of your comfort zone, try something new and grow.” …I like to challenge myself.
Kardashian has previously starred with minor roles in “Disaster Movie,” “Beyond the Break,” “CSI: NY” and “Temptations: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor,” among other projects over the years.
