Lizzo shows off slimmer figure in ‘booty-lifting’ leggings: ‘New year, new me’

New year, new Lizzo.

The “Good As Hell” singer took to Instagram on the first day of 2024 to reveal her slimmed-down physique while modeling pieces from her own clothing line, Yitty.

The promotional clip showed the Grammy winner, 35, trying on the new UltraLift BootySculpt Leggings ($70) and Ultralift Square Neck Bra ($50) in several different colors as she delivered an inspirational message.

“New year, new me,” she began. “You know how they say run, not walk? Teleport b***h.

“You have no idea how hard it was to get into this,” Lizzo continued, while demonstrating how tightly the activewear clung to her body.

“This technology rips and lifts. The spoils are lifted – the spoils to the sky.

She also told her followers: “You don’t have to wait to feel like the best version of yourself.” »

“Baby boo, it looks like we went to the gym, but we didn’t go to the gym. Yes, we put ourselves first, guys.

His followers were quick to jump into the comments section, suggesting that the “Juice” singer had lost a few pounds.

“Lizzo, you are the diet queen!!!! 😍😍😍 ok let me go to the gym,” one person wrote.

Another fan chimed in: “We see you losing weight, my love. Even if you were beautiful before. 😍.”

A third follower echoed the sentiment, writing: “You are such a beautiful human 😍.” »

The new message came days after the singer mourned the loss of her dog, Pooka, who sadly pa*sed away on New Year’s Eve.

“I cried every day. I miss you Pooka. Such. Thank you for almost 20 years of love,” she captioned a series of throwback snaps.

The tragic news capped a difficult year for Lizzo, who found herself in a legal battle with three of her ex-dancers who filed a scathing lawsuit against her.

According to the lawsuit, the former staffers claim they were subjected to s****l hara*sment, gross humiliation and a hostile work environment while employed by the singer.

Last September, Lizzo argued through her attorneys that there were more than 30 lines of defense to justify dismissing the case, and even requested a jury trial.

She also addressed the allegations directly in an Instagram post after the initial lawsuit was filed, calling the allegations “false” and stating that she would “never criticize or fire an employee based on their weight.”

“My work ethic, morals and respect have been called into question. My character was criticized. …I’m hurt but I won’t let the good work I’ve done in the world be overshadowed by this,” she wrote in part.
