Margot Robbie dazzles with nearly 100 carats of diamonds at the Critics Choice Awards

Margot Robbie’s Aesthetic at the 2024 Critics Choice Awards Was WWBD: What Would Barbie Do?

The “Barbie” star, 33, dazzled in Lorraine Schwartz diamonds worth nearly 100 carats while attending the awards ceremony Sunday evening in Santa Monica, California.

Robbie paired 60-carat oval diamond earrings with a 35-carat oval diamond ring, which nearly blinded the press on the red carpet.

“I feel very special tonight,” she says exclaimed while speaking to a reporter from “Access Hollywood”who timed the giant ball and added, “I would say so!” »

“Like what? What?” » said the actress in disbelief, raising her hand. “I didn’t know diamonds were that big.”

A rep for Schwartz tells Page Six Style that the ring, in particular, is color D, which is the highest color grade on the GIA color scale — and the most expensive.

“It was in our collection, and when Lorraine sat down with Margot’s stylist Andrew Mukamal – the mastermind behind the look – he said, ‘This is exactly what Barbie would wear.’ It’s over the top and fabulous! »

Robbie’s jewelry for the evening is estimated to be worth around $3 million.

The bling complemented her off-the-shoulder red Balmain dress, which featured a ruffled floral neckline, ruched bodice and elegant train.

She completed her ravishing look with simple makeup and pulled her blonde hair back into a loose, low hairstyle.

Robbie was nominated for best actress for her starring role in “Barbie,” but the coveted award went to Emma Stone for her portrayal of Bella Baxter in “Poor Things.”

Robbie wore mostly pink while doing press for Greta Gerwig’s landmark film, which hit theaters in July 2023, and she kept the momentum going to kick off awards season.

She attended the 2024 Golden Globes last weekend as 1977 superstar Barbie in a custom Armani Privé creation.

The actress looked like a living doll wearing a hot pink boa, matching sequin dress and – of course – Lorraine Schwartz diamonds.
