Margot Robbie reveals Hooters job offer – while filming advert at 16

They thought she was a hoot.

Margot Robbie, 32, has revealed that the popular and cheeky chain Hooters – known for its explosive servers serving cups and jugs – offered her a job in the 2000s.

In a recent interview with NME, the “Babylon” starlet recalled the charming overture, which she said she received while on a publicity shoot for Naked American Restaurants when she was 16 – acting as a patron, not as a “Hooters girl”.

“At the end of the day, they offered me a job, and I was like, ‘I think this is where my career is going, and I’m going to end up working at Hooters,'” Robbie recalled.

The Post contacted Hooters for comment on Wednesday.

In the interview, Robbie recalled starring in a Hooters commercial when she was 16.

The Aussie actress did NME’s interview with her “Babylon” co-star Diego Calva, and they shared behind-the-scenes details about the film, which hit theaters last month.

While the film has been compared to Hollywood’s version of “The Great Gatsby,” the drug- and sex-fueled cinematic experience is hailed by the NME sit-down co-stars.

The couple agreed that the film’s director, Damien Chazelle, never rejected the actors’ ideas. Chazelle always asked them for “more”.

“I would give the maximum I could give and then his rating would be, ‘That was awesome, I just need more,'” Robbie recalled.

The star is also set to appear as the titular Barbie in Greta Gerwig’s upcoming film, which has captivated fans long before its scheduled July 21 release.

Hooters reportedly wanted Robbie to fill out the classic orange uniform.

Robbie even inadvertently spawned a fad known as “Barbiecore.”

The neon pink trend accelerated over the summer and quickly became part of the 2022 color palette.
