‘Mayor of Kingstown’ Season 3 Fans Prepare for Big Finale Twist as Iris’ Phone Call to Mike Raises Suspicions
Lansing, Michigan: ‘The Mayor of Kingstown’ season 3 is getting more intense with each episode as Mike McClusky (Jeremy Renner) and Iris (Emma Laird) face an increasing series of challenges.
‘The Mayor of Kingstown’ has a history of sometimes killing off female characters so that the male characters get enough focus and development within the series, and it seems Season 3 is no different.
The trend continues this season, with plot developments suggesting that female characters may once again face dire consequences for advancing the male protagonists’ storylines. Rhonda (Nona Parker Johnson) was also killed off to advance the series.
Now, fans fear that Iris may face the same fate. In ‘Mayor of Kingstown’ Season 3 Episode 7, Iris calls Mike. Constantine’s (Yorik van Wageningen) men become suspicious and ask him who he is communicating with. He claimed he was calling family, but it seemed Constantine and his men were already suspicious.
Why ‘Mayor of Kingstown’ Season 3 Is Setting Up Iris’ Death

In ‘Mayor of Kingstown’ Season 3 Episode 8, Constantine tells Iris to leave because he believes it is not safe for her, especially after the bus accident in which several girls were killed.
However, why Constantine suddenly wants to leave him? His sudden concern for Iris’ safety may not simply be out of genuine care.
Constantine’s plea to leave Iris came only when he secretly called Mike. Constantine may have a hidden agenda behind asking Iris to leave.
Perhaps Constantine knows Iris is collaborating with Mike and wants to get her out of the picture. Asking him to leave, he might set a trap. His request for her to leave may not be out of concern for her safety but a strategic move to eliminate a potential threat.
During his journey, Constantine may plot to kill him by intercepting his men. This scene would allow Constantine to remove Iris without raising suspicion.
If Mike learns of Constantine’s plot to harm Iris, he may consider collaborating with Merle Callahan (Richard Brake) to either kill Constantine or arrest him. However, this would be a complex and dangerous undertaking.
The stakes will be incredibly high, with the potential for significant fallout to affect everyone involved.

Various fans have taken to Reddit to discuss Iris’ fate in ‘Mayor of Kingstown’ season 3. One fan wrote on Reddit, “Killing off Iris would be the most Iris thing ever. I don’t understand her storyline and there’s no growth- so we have to suffer her to see her go.”
Another fan wrote on Reddit, “I’m struggling to figure out how else she contributes to the plot.” Another fan said on Reddit, “It’s pretty clear that Iris isn’t making it out of this show alive.”
One fan wrote on Reddit, “I feel like both her and Mike won’t make it this season. Iris has run her course as a character, they’re finding ways to include her this season but her return to crime seems detrimental to her.” Being the character they hint him to leave Kingstown, they should either fulfill that hint or I mean for Mike how long he can avoid death while he’s actively working for the police. Benefit of the SWAT team trying to keep them at bay.”
One fan commented on Reddit, “Iris’ days are numbered. It’s just a question of whether it’s this season or further down the line.”
Another fan said, “The actress is so beautiful in a charmingly ethereal way. Otherwise, besides looking at her pretty face, the character is sucking the life out of me! Someone shoot her! She’s gone in a brutally horrible way, she’s been through enough.”
Another fan commented on Reddit, “I feel like Iris told whoever killed the girls to set up Constantine’s defeat. We still don’t know for sure who did it, it probably wasn’t Bunny/The Crips. But Iris is the bus.” And obsessively fixated on their images since the recovery of the remains and her frequent cries seem to me to be an expression of guilt and perhaps a flash of what we don’t know—whatever is still on her record she was afraid of finding Mike.”

Another fan wrote on Reddit, “I feel like Iris said whoever killed the girls for Constantine’s defeat. It must be Milo.”
One fan expressed frustration on Reddit saying, “No they don’t need to keep her alive so she can be saved by Mike, and then next season she goes back to another Russian gangster and Mike has to save her again.”
“He must be dying, and Milo must have something to do with it,” another fan speculated on Reddit.
One fan hilariously speculated on Reddit, “I think he might kill Constantine… Or, he kills Constantine’s top man, Constantine shoots him, and Mike kills Constantine. He’s seriously injured, and Mike grabs his head in an ambulance.” Waiting for, but we don’t know if he dies a series renewal will bring him back with a new deal, or he won’t take 50 bucks an episode and dies.”
