Are you ready for another round of snow, Quebec?
Environment Canada issued a snowfall warning Tuesday afternoon ahead of a blast of wintry weather in the south of the province. Regions affected include Montreal, Lanaudière and the Eastern Townships.
These areas could see between 15 and 25 centimeters of snow starting Wednesday evening.
“Rainfall will decrease in intensity throughout the day on Thursday,” the state weather agency said in its warning. “The snow will be accompanied by moderate winds and will sometimes give blowing snow.”

Environment Canada advises that travel conditions are changing rapidly and deteriorating during this time. Heavy snowfall can also suddenly limit visibility on the roads.
“There may be a significant impact on rush hour traffic in urban areas,” the warning reads.
Meanwhile, other areas are under winter storm watch.
The meteorological agency indicates that commuters in Quebec should expect a difficult journey Thursday morning “due to the accumulation of snow on the roads and the low visibility in the heavy snow and blowing snow”.
