Multi-millionaire Vanessa Hudgens complains wedding dresses are ‘so expensive’
Vanessa Hudgens can’t quite get into the marriage game.
The former ‘High School Musical’ multi-millionaire complained about the cost of the wedding in a recent interview, decrying the price of wedding dresses.
“It’s wild,” the actress who is engaged to baseball star Cole Tucker, 27, told People.
“It’s crazy, the wedding industry,” she said. “My best friend is also getting married. And she’s going through that and I was like, ‘My God, the dresses are so expensive. It’s crazy.’
“It’s a very daunting thing — there’s so much to do,” she told People in a previous interview. “As Gwen Stefani said, it’s bananas.”
This isn’t the first time Hudgens, whose net worth is estimated at $18 million, has complained about wedding arrangements.
During an appearance on ‘The Drew Barrymore Show’ in May, Hudgens, 34, revealed that she ‘sort of’ wanted to ‘elope’ with Tucker due to the stress of planning a wedding. .
“It’s hard,” she explained. “Finding a place is difficult. I’m lost. I don’t know.”

The couple have been together since 2020 and went public with their relationship in February the following year.
During an appearance on the “Today” show in September 2021, Hudgens shared that the two met in an unlikely way — via a Zoom while on a meditation call during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“After our Zoom, I followed him on Instagram, then I did a deep dive, and two days later he messaged me,” she recalled.
“It’s the ultimate modern-day love story,” the ‘Spring Breakers’ star continued. “This is ridiculous. Who are we, the most new age couple ever?”
The professional athlete proposed in February, two years after they started dating.
The bride-to-be showed off her ring in an Instagram post the same month, writing, “YES. We couldn’t be happier.
Hudgens was previously in a relationship with her “High School Musical” co-star Zac Efron from 2005 to 2010 and “Elvis” star Austin Butler from 2011 to 2020.
