‘Not a hero’: Markus Schoberg’s ex accuses ‘The Bachelorette’ star of ’emotional abuse’
RALEIGH, North Carolina: Markus Schoberg, Jane Tran’s contestant on ‘The Bachelorette’, is a fan favorite. However, according to certain internet spoilers, not many people from her past are thrilled about her newfound TV fame.
The Army Ranger veteran was the first to raise eyebrows when Jen’s Bachelorette season aired. During his introduction, Marcus told the audience a very personal narrative about his time in the Army Rangers.
Soon after the cast list was announced, some really heavy allegations against Marcus surfaced. On social media, several women came forward with their versions of what their experiences were like while dating their ex Marcus.

One such incriminating Reddit post reads, “I’m one of Marcus’ victims (confirmed via the moderators) and I’d like to first thank every woman who spoke out in support, especially the moderators who listened to my story and made me feel a little bit off for not going straight to the producers during filming. Sorry but my physical and mental health was the most important thing after enduring a horribly painful miscarriage that I can confirm everything about her is true and I have the receipts to back it all up, that I have ever had the displeasure of being involved with. She is one of them, although she was very charming at the beginning – which we will all see on the show. I was able to connect with several other women through a Facebook group for the protection of women that she was asking to go to the show with women alone this year. How behaved. It just shows how deeply narcissistic this guy is that he thinks he can treat women so horribly and not go on a dating show.
The woman further slammed the producers for their lack of background-checks on their potential contestants, saying, “It’s sickening to see the producers write that this guy is a ‘real-life superhero’. I thank God every day that someone so horrible got away.”
However, she previously said that her appearance on ‘The Bachelorette’ marks five years since Marcus seriously dated.
“I think I’m ready to open myself up to the possibility of a relationship and love,” she explained to the audience during her introduction package.
“I’m here to see if Jane and I have a connection. I hope love is the next mission for me.”

Marcus Schoberg recalls near-death experience on ‘The Bachelorette’ Season 21
Jane and Marcus went skydiving in Melbourne, Australia and enjoyed a romantic meal afterward. He spoke about being nearly killed by a grenade while serving in the military, and how the near-death incident, which led to months in the hospital, inspired him to “live a life worth saving,” as he said at the dinner.
Jane admired her tenacity as well as the vulnerability necessary to share her story with him. “It shows what a hero you are, and that’s exactly what I’m looking for,” the lady commented.
In a confessional, Jane said she “could see a future” with Marcus. “It looks like the start of something really good.”

Is Jane Tran engaged to Markus Schoberg on ‘The Bachelorette’ Season 21?
According to Reality Steve, Marcus had a successful season with Jane. He reportedly fell short of the runner-up, Devin Strader, who was rumored to take the final rose.
That being said, Reality Steve’s spoiler predictions on Joey Graziadi’s Bachelor season earlier this year were wrong.

During his introduction, Marcus informed the audience that he “enlisted for two weeks of training and left” after graduating from high school. “I’ve been on six deployments, and I’m very proud to be an Army Ranger, but the last mission I went on, I almost didn’t come back.”
Marcus admits to experiencing a break in memory when a grenade exploded near him and his crew during the battle. He woke up “in a hospital in Washington, DC”.
After serving in the Army Rangers, Marcus attended Harvard University. While at Harvard, he worked with the Harvard Undergraduate Veterans Organization.
