Reports reveal the final moments before the plane crash that k**led three members of gospel group The Nellons

The plane that crashed, k*****g three members of The Nelons’ gospel group, had lost its autopilot and appeared to be in a “barrel roll maneuver” shortly before it crashed, according to initial reports of the wreckage.

The National Transportation Safety Board released the report nearly a month after the July 26 plane crash that k**led six pa*sengers and the pilot.

Nelons co-founder Kelly Nelon Clark, her husband Jason Clark and their daughter Amber Nelon Kiesler all died in the crash, their daughter and fourth band member Autumn Nelon Streetman confirmed in a statement.

Amber’s husband Nathan Keesler, their a*sistant Melody Hodges, pilot Larry Haney and his wife Melissa Haney were also k**led in the crash.

New reports reveal that the pilot made an emergency call after losing the autopilot. He told a controller at the Salt Lake City Air Route Traffic Control Center that he was trying to regain control of the plane shortly before the crash.

Nearby witnesses saw the plane lose control before it crashed, with one even able to hear the moment of impact.

“An eyewitness located near the crash site heard a ‘loud screeching noise’ that subsided and then increased shortly after smoke was released from the crash site,” the report said.

“Another witness observed the aircraft overhead in a ‘barrel roll’ maneuver and heard the aircraft’s engines ‘loudly roar’ until they heard the aircraft impact terrain. Witnesses said they saw smoke in the area shortly after.”

The Nelons were on their way to Alaska to perform on a week-long cruise that left the next day. Nelon Streetman was not on the same plane as the rest of his family and arrived safely in Seattle.

Nelon Streetman released the family’s final album on August 30, which they had finished recording in early July.

A full report into the probable cause of an accident can take up to two years to complete.
