Ruby Franke weirdly talked about having a ‘dirty little secret’ just 2 days before her child abuse arrest.
Ruby Franke oddly teased having a ‘dirty little secret’ days before she was arrested for aggravated child abuse.
In a since-deleted video posted Aug. 28 on his now-defunct Youtube channel, “ConneXions,” Franke – alongside his business partner, Jodi Hildebrandt – addressed the issue of victim status, which they a*sociated to dishonesty.
Even though these are hypothetical scenarios, the episode’s statements can now be interpreted differently.
“The victim is a place where I live, a place where I feel sorry for myself because I don’t want to be responsible for myself,” the mother of six said in the video, according to Insider.
“I want to control everything around me to be comfortable, but I refuse to take responsibility for myself.”
Franke, 41, added: “I could be dishonest, and I think I get away with it because no one knows.”
“It could take five years, ten years, I could even take it with me to the grave. My dirty little secret. So it looks like I have no results and I’m getting away with it,” she said.
Hildebrandt, who was also arrested on suspicion of child abuse, added that being dishonest has consequences.

“Even if you don’t feel them, even if you don’t openly experience them in the tangible world, you get spiritual results,” she explained.
“Just as if you resulted in stepping down from a tall building.”
The video was uploaded two days before the women were arrested for aggravated child abuse after a minor escaped from Hildebrandt’s home in Ivins, Utah.
On August 30, the child ran to a neighbor to ask for food and water before the latter noticed that he had traces of tape on his arms and legs.
Police took the minor to hospital, describing him as emaciated and malnourished. Later, they found another child in similar conditions at Hildebrandt’s home.
Ruby – who shares Shari, Chad, Abby, Julie, Russell and Eve with her husband Kevin – is being held without bond in the Washington County Jail. It is suspected that she knew about the alleged abuse because she had filmed at the house a few days before.
The couple’s four youngest children were also taken into the care of the Department of Children and Family Services on Wednesday.
Through his attorney Randy S. Kester, Kevin told Page Six on Thursday that his “urgent goal is simply to keep his children together in his paternal custody.”
