Sam Hunt has arrested the Interlock device for speed and violation after year of DUI
Sam Hunt's “Cop Car” song did not do well.
According to TMZ, the country singer was arrested on January 26 for speedy and violation of an interlock device.
Police pulled Hunt in Henderson County in Tennessee and took him to jail before he was released on a $ 1,500 bond on the same day.
An interlock device is also known as a car brethlizer. The device measures the contents of the breathing alcohol and the driver will need to blow the device to enable the car ignition. The process is intended to prevent drunk driving.
Hunt was arrested for a DUI in 2019, which could explain why the interlock device was in his car; However, it is unclear whether they are related.
In a statement to TMZ on Wednesday, a representative of the singer confirmed that Hunt had cleared the necessary documents in court this week and would not be accused. He added that Hunt got a speedy ticket, which he is planning to pay.
The post arrived at the Handerson County Sheriff's office and to the Hunt representative but did not immediately listen.
This is a developing story.
