Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ Lawyer Says Ca*sie’s Abuse, Rape Lawsuit Settlement Was Not an ‘Admission of Wrongdoing’

Sean “Diddy” Combs’ attorney said in a statement that his client’s settlement of the rape and abuse lawsuit with Ca*sie was “in no way an admission of wrongdoing.”

“To be clear, a decision to settle a lawsuit, especially in 2023, is in no way an admission of wrongdoing,” attorney Ben Brafman said in a statement to Page Six on Saturday.

“Mr. Combs’ decision to settle the lawsuit in no way calls into question his adamant denial of the allegations. He is pleased that they have reached a mutual settlement and wishes Ms. Ventura the best.

Brafman’s latest statement comes hours after news broke that the Bad Boy Records founder had settled the rape and abuse lawsuit his ex Ca*sie filed against him on Thursday.

“I have decided to resolve this matter amicably on terms over which I have some level of control,” the singer, whose full name is Casandra Ventura, said in a statement Friday following the settlement. .

“I want to thank my family, fans and attorneys for their continued support.”

“To be clear, a decision to settle a lawsuit, especially in 2023, is in no way an admission of wrongdoing,” attorney Ben Brafman said in a statement to Page Six.

Diddy, 54, also spoke out in a statement, saying: “We have decided to resolve this matter amicably. I wish Ca*sie and her family all the best. Love.”

The settlement came a day after the “Me & U” singer, 37, filed an explosive lawsuit against her former boss and ex-boyfriend, accusing him of rape, physical abuse, introduced her to alcohol and drugs and forced her to have s*x with male prostitutes while he watched and masturbated.

Ca*sie claimed in the lawsuit that the “Last Night” rapper “was prone to uncontrollable rage and frequently beat Ms. Ventura savagely.”

“Over the years that Mr. Combs physically and s****lly abused Ms. Ventura, she repeatedly attempted to escape his control over her life,” the lawsuit states. “Every time she went into hiding, Mr. Combs’ vast network of companies and affiliated entities found her, and those who worked for Mr. Combs’ companies begged her to come back to him.

“Many went so far as to explicitly state that his failure to return to Mr. Combs would hinder his success in the entertainment industry.”

The “Long Way 2 Go” singer claimed in the complaint that Diddy allegedly raped her in her apartment in 2018.

“She told him to stop and tried to push him away,” the lawsuit states. “Mr. Combs then forcibly ripped off Ms. Ventura’s clothes and unbuckled her belt. He began raping Ms. Ventura as she repeatedly said ‘no’ and tried to push him away.

Diddy, through his attorney, “vehemently” denied all allegations against him.
