Sophia Bush wears wedding reception dress again for Beyoncé concert after divorce
She put on her weird dress.
Sophia Bush turned lemons into lemonade as she wore her wedding reception dress to Beyoncé’s ‘Renaissance’ concert earlier this week after filing for divorce from husband Grant Hughes after a year of marriage.
The “One Tree Hill” alum wore Cristina Ottaviano’s shimmering silver mini dress and danced through the crowd during Beyoncé’s Renaissance tour stop in Los Angeles at SoFi Stadium on Monday.
Queen B asked the public to wear silver to celebrate her birthday and luckily Sophia had just the right revenge dress in her closet.
The ‘Work in Progress’ podcast host, 41, paired the plunging mirror look with a white cowboy hat and shimmery pearl eyeshadow.
Bush kept the cut playful with black Off-White cowboy boots “for walking,” channeling Nancy Sinatra during the disco rodeo-themed concert.
Sophia shared snaps from the show on Instagram with the caption, “Speaking of @beyonce…the queen said ‘carry cash’ and we said ‘yes madam’.”
“She called her #Renaissance ‘a place to dream/escape/feel free/adventurous/to create a safe/judgment-free place/a place to be free/to scream/break free/feel freedom/a beautiful travel/explore. “I can confirm,” Bush continued in the caption.
It appeared the ‘John Tucker Must Die’ star felt free to create a safe place or outfit by repeating the same outfit she previously wore at her reception when she married the entrepreneur in Oklahoma in June 2022.
“It gives such a vibe to Brooke Davis,” said one follower, referencing her “One Tree Hill” persona, while another quipped, “But Brooke Davis said ‘Clothes Over Bros.'”

The actress filed for divorce last month out of the blue after publicly celebrating their first anniversary in June. While the couple had been friends for ten years, they started a romantic relationship in 2020 and got engaged in 2021.
Despite the split, Bush appears to be in good spirits — and is using concerts as a way to cope after appearing on the Taylor Swift Eras Tour in August.
