Sorry, *NSYNC isn’t going on tour – but Justin Timberlake is
Say “Bye Bye Bye” to your hopes and dreams.
Despite recording their first new song in over 20 years, *NSYNC is not planning a reunion tour, multiple sources confirm to Page Six.
However, we’re told Justin Timberlake will be hitting the road solo.
“Justin is releasing a new album, so he’s planning a big US tour for 2024,” a music insider said.
Timberlake’s rep did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
Billboard was the first to report the news.
*NSYNC made a surprise appearance Tuesday at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards to present the trophy for Best Pop to Taylor Swift for her “Anti-Hero” music video.
Just over 24 hours later, Timberlake and his bandmates Chris Kirkpatrick, Joey Fatone, Lance Ba*s and JC Chasez confirmed weeks-long speculation that they had a new track on the way: “Better Place” will be released on streaming services in September. 29 in addition to being featured in the upcoming DreamWorks animated film “Trolls Band Together.”

*NSYNC, whose hits include “Tearin’ Up My Heart” and “It’s Gonna Be Me,” hasn’t released an album since 2001’s “Celebrity.”
The boy band has reunited several times since, including for a performance at the 2013 VMAs and receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2018.
Since *NSYNC’s breakup in 2004, Timberlake has carved out a successful career for himself.
The multihyphenate, 42, has released five solo albums and a slew of hit singles like “Cry Me a River,” “SexyBack” and “Mirrors.” He also starred in films such as “The Social Network” and “Friends with Benefits”.
Timberlake took his most recent album, 2018’s “Man of the Woods,” on tour across North America and Europe. He also headlined the Super Bowl LII halftime show.
