St. Joe’s Health Center sets all-time fundraising record at Taste of Guelph
It was a taste of success at a fundraiser in Guelph.
St. Joseph Health Center hosted the Taste of Guelph on Sunday at its premises.
In a press release, more than 700 people came to taste food and drinks from around fifty local establishments.
The foundation announced that the event raised more than $250,000, setting an all-time record.
Part of this amount came from matching donations made by Hutton Forest Products. Chairman James Hutton has pledged to match all new sponsorship revenue, which totals $100,000.
St. Joseph’s Health Center Foundation CEO Sera Filice-Armenio said in a statement that “St. Joe’s is counting on the support of our community at Taste of Guelph to ensure we can purchase equipment which is not financed by the operating funds that the health center receives from the province.
St. Joseph’s Health Center President John Woods said, “Taste of Guelph symbolizes our community’s shared commitment to supporting the health and well-being of our patients and residents. We are grateful to Linamar and all of our generous sponsors, guests and volunteers.
