“The Bachelorette”, “DWTS” alum Charity Lawson reveals she’s had breast implants
Charity Lawson is clearing the air on speculation about her recent procedure.
The reality star, who led Season 20 of “The Bachelorette,” addressed fans’ concerns about her whereabouts in a TikTok clip she shared on Friday by revealing that she had undergone breast implants.
“Even if I turned to the side a little, it would still be proportional to my frame,” she explained, showing off her perkier chest. “I’m very young and very young, so I knew that and I was like, ‘I don’t want it to be like, ‘Oh my God, this girl got her surgery done.'”
“But I really wanted it to be very natural,” she continued. “I wanted it to be just for me. At the end of the day, that’s why I’m doing this, it’s for myself.”
Lawson, 28, said she had been thinking about undergoing the procedure “for a long time” and when she finally felt ready, she opted for the procedure, which was performed by Dr. Barrett in Beverly Hills, California.
She added that this was the “best decision” she had made for herself “in a hot moment” and praised the quick response time.
“I’m really proud. I’m really happy,” she gushed before telling fans that she would answer any questions they might have about her experience getting a breast augmentation.
As for why she decided to reveal the surgery, Lawson said she felt it was important to be honest with her fans. “I want to be the person that when you look at me, you see someone who is transparent in the conversation and normalizes these experiences that we, or a lot of us, have, but feel like we can’t talk about…fear or judgment,” she noted.

“I was so afraid of that, but this is 2024, and if you’re not living your life for yourself at this point, I don’t know what else to tell you,” she added. “It’s the biggest lesson I’ve learned for myself.”
Fans first met Lawson when she competed for Zach Shallcross’s heart on Season 27 of “The Bachelor.”
She met her fiancé, Dotun Olupiko, during her season of “The Bachelorette,” which aired in 2023.
She then competed on “Dancing with the Stars” last fall.
