We will hear him roar.
Crafty TikTok star Corey O’Brien whipped up his own take on Kylie Jenner’s ‘disturbing’ Schiaparelli lion’s head dress with a few simple household items, proving you don’t have to buy sewing to make a major style statement.
“As soon as I saw this dress and all the attention surrounding it, I knew I was going to put my own spin on it,” O’Brien told Page Six Style.
Jenner wore the eerily realistic (but PETA-approved) animal head – made from “hand-sculpted foam [and] wool and silk faux fur, and hand painted to look as realistic as possible,” as the brand shared on Instagram – to attend the Schiaparelli Haute Couture show on Monday.
O’Brien, meanwhile, pulled off the look with a $13 dress from H&M and a decapitated teddy bear.
For the mane event, he used faux fur from the craft store to turn the little cuddly into the king of the jungle.
“One of my favorite activities is taking these fashion moments and turning them into my own, with a mix of humor and creativity. I know there’s been an uproar – a pun – about this dress, but I just wanted to have fun with it and make people laugh,” jokes O’Brien.
The handyman even dabbled in hairstyles, chopping off his lion ‘mane’ to give it layers before superimposing the ferocious creature onto the front of his dress.
“Fortunately, it stayed on with no problem,” O’Brien tells us.
The social media star – who is dating NFL free agent Ryan Russell – has amassed nearly two million followers on TikTok, thanks to her dance moves and design innovations that incorporate store finds to a dollar and candy from craft stores.
The pro dancer previously recreated Kim Kardashian’s Marilyn Monroe-inspired Met Gala look, using a $12 Forever 21 dress and over 350 rhinestones to whip up her own take on the historic garment.
“You can do a quality look without a huge amount of money,” he told us at the time.
“Social media has become a contest about who can be the prettiest or the most muscular, but I’ve been able to create a space where I can dance, make a funny outfit, laugh and have a good time, and I think that we could all use more of it in our lives.
