Travis Kelce Opens Up About ‘Fun’ New Year’s Eve Celebrations With Taylor Swift and Mom Donna: ‘It Was Cool’
Travis Kelce had the best time in 2024 with the two most important women in his life: his girlfriend Taylor Swift and his mother, Donna Kelce.
Travis’ brother Jason Kelce asked the Kansas City Chiefs tight end what it was like to see their mother attend his New Year’s Eve game against the Cincinnati Bengals during Wednesday’s episode of their podcast “New Heights”.
“What was it like having mom there for that game?” Very good?” Jason, 36, asked Travis without mentioning that Swift was also in attendance for the weekend’s celebratory showdown.
“It was fun, yeah,” Travis, 34, shared coyly, adding, “And then we all got to celebrate New Years together.”
He continued: “It was cool, man, having all the friends and family. I think I had over 50, 55 people come for this one.
The two-time Super Bowl champion said he had a “great New Year’s Eve” with friends and family and even said he received a great gift from his mother.
“I was able to exchange gifts with Mama Kelc. I can’t tell you what I got because some things are still being made for you,” he told his brother about the gift Donna chose. “It’s one of the gifts and it’s great. You will really love this gift.
Clearly, Travis was happy to have the matriarch of the family with Swift.
“It was cool to have mom in town to spend a little bit of Christmas and New Years. Bring the new year with it,” he said.
Donna joined the “Shake It Off” singer in the VIP suite at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri on Sunday.
The pop star wore a vintage Chiefs letterman jacket as she cheered on her boyfriend from the stands.
After the match, Travis and Swift gathered with family and friends to celebrate New Year’s Eve with c**ktails, dancing, and tons of PDA at a private party in Kansas City.
The couple was caught kissing at midnight and they were also seen hanging out with Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany.

Fans hilariously noticed that the photos revealed that Swift’s lipstick had smudged and rubbed off throughout the evening.
“Missing: Taylor’s lipstick. if you find it, please return it to Taylor Swift. The suspect is Travis Kelce. a user joked aboutformerly Twitter.
Another person added: “It was so sweet of her to share her lipstick with Travis.”
Swift and Kelce also enjoyed Christmas together a week ago. The singer attended Travis’ Christmas game with her own parents, Andrea and Scott Swift, and her brother, Austin Swift.
The Grammy-winning artist looked festive in a Santa hat embroidered with Travis’ jersey number while her brother wore a full Santa suit.
The Swifts mingled with Travis’ father, Ed Kelce, during the game and the families reportedly joined forces to celebrate the holiday together.
Taylor and Travis made their romance public in September 2023, although they started seeing each other last summer.
