Vinny Guadagnino: I can’t date newly single Sophie Turner for this ‘complicated’ reason
It doesn’t break the JoBro code.
Vinny Guadagnino reveals on Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast that he won’t pursue newly single Sophie Turner because he’s old friends with her ex-husband, Joe Jonas.
“I was actually… friends with Joe at one point, so it might get a little complicated,” the “Jersey Shore Family Vacation” star, 35, said while promoting season 2 from “All Star Shore.”
“I spent a weekend with him in Vegas and I think it was, like, most years off with the Jonas Brothers.”
Guadagnino says he and Jonas, 34, have mutual friends, which gave them the opportunity to spend time years ago in Sin City — where the “Burnin’ Up” singer famously married Turner, 27 years old, at Chapelle L’Amour in 2019.
“I have friends who know Joe and we were just partying,” the MTV personality adds. “He’s a good guy.”

Although he won’t try to date Turner anytime soon, Guadagnino appreciates the rumor that the “Game of Thrones” actress likes his reality show.
“[The ‘Jersey Shore’ cast has] I’ve heard that a lot over the years and it means a lot,” he exclaims, “because I’m a huge ‘Game of Thrones’ fan.
Jonas filed divorce papers in Miami on September 5, declaring that his marriage to Turner was “irretrievably broken.”
A source previously told Page Six that the couple — who share a daughter, Willa, 3, and another daughter born in 2022 whose name has not yet been revealed — had “many disagreements” and that the divorce was a “last resort” for Jonas.
Since then, their separation has become very controversial, with Turner suing Jonas to take their children back to England. Through his legal team, the musician spoke out against the lawsuit, saying it went against an “amicable co-parenting setup.”
Amid the drama, both parties were spotted in New York. Turner spent time with his friend and bandmate Jonas, ex Taylor Swift, while the “Cake by the Ocean” crooner spent time with his younger brother and bandmate, Nick Jonas.
Season 2 of “All Star Shore” premieres Thursday at 9 p.m. ET on MTV.
