A couple’s vacation in South Carolina was over before it started – when the woman was arrested for allegedly attacking her husband at the airport when she found lewd footage on his phone.
Paula Barbour, 55, has been charged with third-degree domestic violence after Wednesday’s violent confrontation at Charleston International Airport, WCSC reported.
Police responding to an “active domestic” incident at 2.50pm found the couple in the middle of an altercation.
“The suspect said she just wanted to get away from the victim and go home,” reads the police incident report obtained by the outlet.
She said they arrived in South Carolina for a vacation, but her mood soured when she “saw several indecent photos” on her cellphone, according to WCBD.
An argument ensued when she confronted him about the sassy snaps.
The man denied being attacked, but surveillance footage allegedly showed his wife kicking him in the legs, throwing the phone to the ground and trying to punch him in the face.
Barbour admitted assaulting him and was arrested.
She was taken to Al Cannon Detention Center and released a day later on $5,237 bail.
It was unclear where the couple had traveled from and where they planned to spend some quality time together.
