Zendaya glows with futuristic elegance in a glow-in-the-dark skirt suit at the ‘Dune: Part Two’ premiere in Seoul
She gives the mother…the board.
Zendaya stayed true to the futuristic setting of the “Dune” franchise in Seoul, South Korea on Thursday as she wore a vintage skirt suit with special hidden details for its premiere.
The 27-year-old “Dune: Part Two” star wore a chic two-piece look for the film’s South Korean premiere, wearing a gray skirt suit from Alexander McQueen’s Fall/Winter 1999 ready-to-wear collection for Givenchy.
But her hairstylist, Lou Roach, revealed that the high-neck jumper and pencil skirt – which features a raised red pattern similar to the one on Motherboard – glows in the dark.
“No filter…the suit glows in the lights! Is the story flowing?” Roach posted to an Instagram Reel that showed his client standing on a dark staircase while red details were lit up, to mimic the color of the film’s coveted spice.
She paired the trendy look with sheer black tights and black Christian Louboutin pumps, and kept it simple in terms of accessories and only wore a row of hoop earrings.
The former Disney star – who plays Chaney in the upcoming film – also went for the unexpected with her updo, which included two long strands hanging down the front.
Fans were thrilled by Zendaya’s latest press tour, like the person who commented on Roach’s post, “You’re like Cinna from the Hunger Games with your girl on fire 🔥.”
“This ladies and gentlemen is how you tell a story with clothes! Goosebumps when someone does the work and knows the history!!!!! 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿,” a second Instagram user wrote.
“I’m begging you to make a book featuring all the Z’s over time like fashion designer Margot did with Barbie 🙏🏻,” one fan added, referring to the “Barbie: The World Tour” fashion book coming out in March.

In fact, Z’s entire press tour for the film — which hits theaters March 1 — included some truly stunning fashion statements.
On Wednesday, the “Euphoria” actress went in a different direction, twinning with co-star Timothée Chalamet in baggy jumpsuits by Korean designer Jun Ji as they attended a press conference for the film.
Thursday’s look follows a long line of futuristic suits Zendaya has worn while promoting “Dune: Part Two,” including another ’90s look in the form of Thierry Mugler’s C-3PO metal robot suit.
She also showed off her abs in several skirt combinations, including a Torishéju Dumi crop top, a maxi skirt, and a sparkly gold Louis Vuitton look.
What will Z wear next? Only time will tell.
