A new study answers exactly what the ideal film length is

The Americans has officially become more of a movie marathon.

According to new research, the ideal length of a movie is just 92 minutes.

The survey of 2,000 Americans, conducted by Talker Research, found that the average person wants to spend much less time in the movie theater in the future.

While 92 minutes came out as the ideal average length, only 2% of 2,000 American adults surveyed believed a film should be longer than two and a half hours.

Only 15% want to watch a movie that is two hours or more long.

In the past 60 days, average respondents feel they’ve watched two movies that felt too long, with 23% reluctantly watching three or more movies.

The survey also aims to reveal how the average person feels about translation.

According to the results, 15% say that turning subtitles on or off is a hotly discussed topic in their family.

Although 77% say it’s not a problem at all.

A third of those surveyed say they “never” use subtitles when they watch TV at home, while only 16% say they “always” use them.

Interestingly, this number was vastly different between different age groups, with younger Americans found to be the biggest fans of the concept.

30% of Gen Z respondents “always” watch content with subtitles, while 23% of Millennials say the same.

Meanwhile, only 13% of Generation X and 12% of Boomers agreed.
