Angel Reese rocks a custom diamond grill and backless sequined dress at the 2024 WNBA Draft

Angel Reese entered the WNBA in style.

The former LSU basketball star arrived at the 2024 draft on Monday night in a shimmering low-cut dress complete with a custom diamond grill.

Reese turned heads when she hit the orange carpet in a semi-sheer Bronx & Banco dress ($1,450) covered in beads.

The 21-year-old made a statement in the sleeveless design, which featured an open back, a plunging neckline and a hood.

The self-proclaimed “Bayou Barbie” added extra sparkle with a white gold and diamond grill made by jeweler Essense Martin, who told TMZ that Reese’s bottom grill was composed of nearly flawless VVS diamonds, which range in price from $425 to $650 $ per tooth. According to Al-Jawahiri’s website.

Along with the expensive diamond-encrusted piece, Angel also commissioned two other custom grills from Martin — one for each side of the top of her mouth.

While both tooth caps feature the same white gold and diamonds, the left side features a fun heart design. Additionally, Martin also surprised the star with another custom net bottom spelling out her last name as a gift to making the WNBA.

The 6’3″ striker showed off her new jewelry on Instagram Story before arriving at the Brooklyn Academy of Music in New York.

“Details,” she captioned a close-up photo of the decorations.

Reese also showed off her ice after being selected by the Chicago Sky as the seventh overall pick.

After walking across the stage, Reese shared an emotional moment with former college coach Kim Mulkey.

As with everything she does, Reese announced that she will enter the WNBA draft in style; The tournament-winning player revealed that she is transferring her talents to the big league through a high-end fashion photo shoot with Vogue magazine.

“Of course, I like to do everything on a grand scale,” the All-American told the publication. “I didn’t want anything to be basic.”

For the shoot, Reese wore a series of different athleisure looks, from a loose-fitting basketball-inspired Diesel ensemble to a long red Valentino T-shirt dress.

However, Reese isn’t the only rising star pushing the boundaries of fashion.

No. 1 overall draft pick Kaitlyn Clark made history Monday night when she attended the big night dressed in a full Prada outfit — becoming the first athlete worn by the fashion house, male or female, in the NBA or WNBA Draft.

The former Iowa Hawkeye looked chic in a white Prada satin miniskirt ($1,750) and matching top ($5,500) over a rhinestone-embroidered mesh top ($3,750).

Clark, who wore jewelry worth more than $10,000, finished his look with stylish sungla*ses ($531), black leather shoes ($1,200) and a small Galleria bag ($4,100).

However, the newest Indiana Fever player swapped her heels for a comfortable pair of Uggs during interviews.
