Bill Haney’s prediction comes true as Ryan Garcia spends $1.5 million to fight Devin Haney after losing weight

Ryan Garcia (24-1) was set to fight Devin Haney for the WBC super lightweight championship this weekend. However, this will no longer be the case as the weight is missed. After that 2023 Loss of Gervonta “Tank” Davis, Garcia has only had one fight where he knocked out Oscar Duarte in the 7th round of a 12-round bout. since then, “King Rai” Been through a lot of ups and downs, mostly downs. He claimed that people were out to k**l him and His life was really in danger. After many people expressed their concern for Moogibadi, Garcia’s father had to clarify that his son was indeed fine.

But the concern about him did not stop there. In an interview, Devin Haney had to question Garcia’s commitment to the fight and wondered if the 25-year-old was taking the competition seriously. Although Gervanta stopped Garcia with a body shot, tank punches to the Mexican-American fighter’s chin also helped wear down his endurance. And, the worst happened when Garcia weighed in for the Honey bout.

So, according to their contract, King Rye must pay Devin $1.5 million. And, the WBC super lightweight champion confirmed that Garcia is keeping his promise. Not only would Ryan be unable to win the title, but he was losing over a million bucks before the bell rang.

However, the weight loss did not seem to affect Garcia who responded by saying, “Why should I force myself to make weight so I can be weak… Nah I’m here to win… That’s it.”
