‘Busy’ Whoopi Goldberg Keeps Quitting ‘The View’ Co-Host Group Chat: ‘I Don’t Care’

Whoopi Goldberg has no interest in being part of the group chat co-hosting “The View.”

During Monday’s episode of the ABC talk show, co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin asked the other ladies if there was a group chat that she wasn’t a part of.

Co-host Sunny Hostin admitted there had been some in previous years, but told Griffin that Goldberg, 68, “would happily give you his spot.”

“She doesn’t look at any of us,” Hoston, 55, said of the “Ghost” actress.

“I feel like Michael Corleone. Because I opt out of the group text…and then I’m boom, back! And I’m like, “What is this?” “added Goldberg.

“And the joy [Behar] puts you right back,” Hostin added.

Co-host Ana Navarro suggested that Goldberg should consider silencing her notifications rather than removing herself from the group chat altogether.

But Goldberg defended his position.

“Silence doesn’t mean you’re part of it,” she said. “I don’t care. I don’t care what you’re upset about. It’s the weekend!”

Navarro, 52, then chimed in, adding that it can be confusing to have multiple group chats with different people.

“See, that’s why I’m not on all that stuff because I know who I’m texting,” Goldberg said. “If I need to talk to you, I will talk to you”

“I don’t just send you stuff!” I’m busy! I’m busy, you know, she continued. “When I talk about these hit-and-runs, what do you think I’m doing?

“I communicate when I have something to say. I don’t just send you stuff. I’m busy,” she added.

Goldberg is known for her outspokenness and is no stranger to leaving the table during “The View” when topics being discussed don’t interest her.

Earlier this month, she walked off set once her co-stars started talking about s****l fetishes.

The ladies discussed a Guardian advice column in which an anonymous person said his wife stopped allowing him to give her foot ma*sages after he told her he had a fetish.

Refusing to discuss it further, Goldberg got up from his seat and waltzed away, saying, “Excuse me for a second. Keep talking!”

“Whoopi left the building,” Griffin joked.
